We’re switching over to a new software called Capitan to make our customer experience more modern and streamlined! You will be able to manage your memberships online, book into events easily and request for discount rates all in the palm of your hands!
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
Capitan works a little differently, so we are going to manage memberships a little differently.
Monthly EFT Memberships will remain active.
This means that your membership will keep going until you cancel it.
Things happen – we won’t let you rack up fees if your card gets declined. Memberships will terminate after 28 days of non-payment.
New memberships will no longer be prorated to the 10th, and no longer require 2 months upfront payment. They will start on the day you sign up, so starting a new membership will be significantly cheaper.

When you maintain a continuous EFT membership, you will automatically get added into a Loyalty Association based on your current EFT Membership start date. EFT, Annual, and 6 month memberships are the only automatic discount association.
All other Discounts are applied via ‘Associations’ in Capitan – you’ll have to sign up for your association (i.e. your discount type) before the discount is applied. Depending on the association, you’ll have to provide proof before you’re approved. Everyone’s a student of life, but not everyone is literally a student. Discounts do not stack; if more than one discount applies to you, we will only apply the largest one.
Full-time Student & Senior Discount
You will need to submit an ID for approval for your association. Students will need to renew their status once a year in September. Access 2 card members will need to renew their status every 3 years.
All of your existing information that is currently in our system has migrated over automatically. This applies to all users, including guests, punch-pass users. This includes your barcode you are currently using.
Accept your email invitation (expect that on Aug 26th) from Capitan to join the web-based Climber App. This web-based app is how you’ll access all of your information, manage your membership, associations, sign up for classes and events. Otherwise? Please be patient with us while we all get adjusted to these changes. Just let us know if you see any errors in your information, or any broken links on the website.
